Hey guys guess who's back?  That's right the Charlie, since I have left Job Corps I have been doing great. I have literally been beating jobs off with a stick. I got a good reliable fun to drive vehicle (race modified Honda Accord LX 2 door Type R). I will be returning to Cass on August 11, 2006 to see some of my really good friends graduate.  So if you are reading this and you are at Cass Job Corps right now get prepared for the return of Charlie to the Cass Job Corps Center.  Till then I will talk to you all later.

1 Day

Today is Thursday June 08, 2006 and tommorow I graduate from Cass Job Corps I got a new job offer for $75.00 an hour, 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, and weekends off!!! tell me that is not the all american job.  Anyway if there is anything I can say about this place it would be that with all the bullshit you put up with here, you can still make it happen.  There is a great phrase that everyone should learn... at that is...

"The funny thing about life is that no-one ever makes it out alive"

Before I go, here is the word of the day...

floccinaucinihilipilification (FLOK-si-NO-si-NY-HIL-i-PIL-i-fi-KAY-shuhn) noun

Estimating something as worthless.

[From Latin flocci, from floccus (tuft of wool) + nauci, from naucum (a trifling thing) + nihili, from Latin nihil (nothing) + pili, from pilus (a hair, trifle) + -fication (making).]

The phrase of the day...

Civilizations in decline are consistently characterised by a tendency towards standardization and uniformity. -Arnold Toynbee, historian (1889-1975)

Farewell my friends, until we meet again...

1 HoUr

I leave here in one hour to go home for 10 days.  I am going to miss this place alot during those days, but I am also going to have fun on my break.  I will return here June 04, 2006 and leave again on graduation day June 09, 2006.  I honestly do not want to go, mainly because there are people here who need my help, and I feel I am abandoning them.  But I have no choice, if I don't go home for 10 days then they will not graduate me and I will get kicked out.  Sucks but that's life,  I am actually ready to start my life over again, but I am not ready to leave my friends.  Of course then again no-one ever wants to leave their good friends for long periods of time.  Well I am going to go and get my luggage I will write you guys when I get to my destination...

OOOPS almost forgot, here is the word of the day...

ret (ret) verb tr.

To soak or expose to moisture (flax, hemp, etc.) to remove fiber from softened wood

And the phrase of the day...

Once you label me you negate me. -Soren Kierkegaard, philosopher (1813-1855)

Farewell my friends, until we meet again...

2 DAYS LEFT!!!!

I leave here in 2 days for my 10 day break, I cannot wait to get home and have some fun with friends I haven't seen in forever.  I had a pretty good day yesterday and it is starting out okay for me this morning, hopefully it stays that way.

Piece of advice - When you get angry at someone someplace be it school, home, mall or just out for fun, and you want to fight them fist to fist. Do something for me, whenever that thought crosses your mind to put up your dukes, look at your fist measure the size of your fist, then measure the top of your head.....wonder why I am saying this?

CHECK IT!!!!

The human mind can do amazing things...if you allow it to do so. Just the same as it can do unbelievably bad things to your life if you allow it to. Who has ever heard the phrase "Think before you act"?  Did you know that, that was a phrase created for a certain thing called "Reverse Psychology" it was meant to stop fights not to tell people to pre-meditate them.  Now with that being said, after you measure your fist and your brain, honestly which one is bigger? if you said your brain then DING DING DING you win.  So why do we use our fist more than our brain?

CHECK IT!!!!

The human nervous system (run by the brain) delivers 7.3 million messages a second to every part of your body.  When you get angry negative messages are sent due to your train of thought (which no offense, but it's of the track) causing one thing "Reflex" Isaac Newton's 3rd law of motion "With every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction". Now judging on how angry you are, things could escalate beyond jail time.  But if you think before you act, you can stop the fight before it starts. Pre-meditated thinking on how bad you are going to hurt this person makes things worse, while pre-meditated thinking on what will happen to your future if you do this action, could quite possibly make things a little easier in life.

Now don't get me wrong, standing up for yourself brings alot of self realization to the process of thought. We will need to protect ourselves sometime in life, be it to protect your girl, car, house, friends, pet or anyone for that matter.  Self protection is high priority in the basis of your lifestyle. Standing up for yourself takes alot of courage that every male and or female has in their hearts. But to start fights and bring up a negative past, takes no courage all it takes is one negative message from the brain and it is OV.

IN CONCLUSION!!!!

If you stand up for yourself and stop fights from happening (be a mediator), then you have more strength than the person that fights to prove him or herself of whatever it was they were fighting over.  You have nothing to prove in life except that you are alive, what does fighting prove? well starting something and lifting a fist to cause physical harm to anyone just proves 2 things:

1. How big of an idiot you are, and believe me you are an idiot.

2. That your scared, and I don't mean fear of the person you are fighting, I mean fear of life and the people that can think before they act because they are stronger than you and you know it.  Now look at yourself with your fist in that innocent persons face and tell me who is stronger? It's not too late, drop the fist and think.

Here is the word of the day....

heft (heft) noun

1. Weight; heaviness.

2. Importance.

verb tr.

1. To test the weight of something by lifting.

2. To heave or hoist.

The Phrase of the day....

Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body. -Joseph Addison, essayist and poet (1672-1719)

Farewell my friends, until we meet again....
